My Concord/Cameo/Turquoise Bible has certain printed pages that are uneven or have some broken type – why is this – is it a fault?
These Bibles originated in the early to mid-twentieth century and are still much in demand. They are, in fact, facsimile printings using current technology to obtain the best resolution from images that are around 75 -100 years old. As such there will necessarily be some variability in the reproduction of excerpts of the text.
This is not a fault but a characteristic of venerable historic editions.
